Movers lost my belongings

A prof moving company ''lost'' 2 of my 18 total boxes when relocating me. They happened to include my collectibles. What actions can I take to recover monetarily if the items are not found?

You probably will be limited by the published tariff -- I think it's 70 cents per hundred dollars of value -- unless you purchased your own moving insurance, or your own homeowners/renter's insurance will cover the loss.
