Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

Sears Money Back Guarantee

In Aug. '04, my husband and I contracted Sears to reface our cabinets. We have been unhappy ever since and have notified Sears about this. In Jan. we finally had a Sears installer come in and make cabinets look half way decent - and inform us the original job was done incorrectly - knowing this after several installers and several months. We are still unhappy-we don't like the look of laminate. Were told it would look like wood cabinets - it does not. Sears has money back guarantee which they are refusing to us (I think this is deceptive practices?). I signed the Satisfcation Ceritificate, but only because I felt intimidate by the installer, who refused to wait for my husband to come home because he had another job to do. He hovered around me until I signed the certificate. Which also told the Sears rep. The reps in Livermore have beed very rude and informed me (a teacher) that I should take time off work (more time) to be there when the installer is finished. We have both taken time off work to let the installers in and go over problems with the head rep.; we were told the total would be $12579, still billed for $13411. Willing to pay for lawyer and want compensation from Sears. To many details to list here. Please help!
