if their was a class action lawsuite filed and i won money but never got the check ,but the people issuing the check says that since i didnt cash the check within a year im not able to get the money anymore .its the law suite aganist san bernardino jails

Do you know how much the settlement was for? Are you certain you were a class member in the lawsuit? Typically, the judgment debtor should reissue a check if you did not receive the original check. Did the claims administrator say whether the check had been negotiated? Does the claims administrator claim there is a deadline in the order governing distribution of the claims?
