Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Garsnishment of Pay.

About five years ago I filed a bankcruptcy with a lawyer here in Stockton, Ca. I was advised to stop any of my credit dues. This was paid but failed to file my case. Lately I was garnished on my pay which resulted by me quitting my job.Same collection agency pulled out money on my bank account before. I have told this agency that the money going to my bank account is from retirement and disability payment, but still took all my deposited money.

What are my recourse about the garnishment of my pay and to the lawyer.

I can't qualify for any credit and purchases.

Re: Garsnishment of Pay.

You may have standing for malpractice against your former attorney, and exemptions as far as your creditors are concerned. You may want to file for bankruptcy again with a more reliable law firm in the VERY near future. If you would like timely, affordable assistance, contact us directly for a free phone consultation.
