Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Reimbursement for Services Not Performed

I pre-paid for facial treatments in advance. I had only one treatment and the office closed with no way to reach anyone. How do I get my money back? The contract says no money back, but will trade for other services offered. Since they are offering no other services, how can I file for a refund?

Re: Reimbursement for Services Not Performed

Small Claims Court is about the best you can get, and that's assuming you can find someone from the company to serve. Even after you (assuming) get a judgment, then you have to collect money from a company which has gone out of business. There is no easy fix for this I'm afraid.
