Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

My 39 year old son is autistic and has never lived away from home. Two years ago he had sex with a 17 year old girlfriend and her father caught them. My son was convicted of 3 counts of consensual sex with a minor and served 8 months of a 16 months sentence. He wears a GPS device and continues to live at home. He takes several medications. His parole agent has told us my son will have to move out of our house because we live 120 feet less than the required 2000 feet from a school. How can I find out if there are exceptions to or exemptions from Jessica's Law for people with developmental disabilities?

I don't believe there are any such 'exceptions'. Your recourse is to either resolve the problem with the PO, or seek a court order instructing the PO to allow the residence, on 'humanitarian' reasons. If you're serious about hiring counsel to try, then feel free to contact me.
