Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Bf on meds and accused...

BF is first time offender. Acted out based on panic, paranoia and fear. He is on meds now (1st time in his youth) and addressing his anxiety. He is accused of: pc422, pc417(a) (i), pc148 (a) ( i ) . Charges are being dropped before hearing. Does he need a lawyer for the hearing?

Re: Bf on meds and accused...

Is the accused a juvenile and the proceedings are in juvenile court? How do you know the charges are being completely dismissed? - Frankly, that sounds a bit too good to be true. If charges are completely dropped - with absolutely no strings attached - it does not appear you need to retain an attorney. It might not hurt to consult with one, however. Feel free to call me for a free consultation. BTW, I live locally in Silver Lake.
