Re: Drug related

Your sister is looking at at least two potential charges: 11351 and 11352 of the health & safety code. 11351 is possession of cocaine for sale. That carries up to 4 years in state prison. 11352 is transportation of cocaine and carries up to 5 years. Depending on the facts of the case, she could also be looking at a conspiracy charge.

What she'll actually get depends on the jurisdiction, the court, the DA and her entire criminal history, but for transporting a quarter pound of cocaine, she's looking at some time in custody.

Re: Drug related

She certainly will if convicted, up to 4 or 5 years in prison on each charge. I can't understand if she doesn't have a private attorney or Public Defender by now? They would know what to expect, given the facts and evidence. If you are serious about hiring her private counsel, feel free to contact me.
