Not if you were sentenced to prison time, as it sounds like, even if you didn't serve prison time. If you weren't, then feel free to contact me for the legal help you'll need.

IF..you pled to a 243PC it's a wobbler and IF..you successfully completed probation you can ask the rendering Court to reduce the matter to a misdemeanor, enter a plea of not guilty and dismiss the case (PC 1203.4, & 17b) Not sure of your circs. IF you were in state prison??? then California relief is reserved for California residents (Certificate of Rehabilitation) and many other rules apply to this relief.

If your conviction was in California, you successfully completed your probation and your record has been clean since, you should be able to "expunge." You can try to do it yourself or you can hire a lawyer who should do it for a modest fee. If you want to do it yourself, contact the clerk at the court where you were convicted.
