Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Incomplete community service

I recently turned 18 in November. Two months before I turned 18 I was charged with possession of tobacco. The Judge gave me 10hrs in community service that I have yet to complete and I may have passed the deadline. What will happen if I do not complete My community service?

Bench warrant will be issued and some day, most likely when you least expect it, you will get pulled over and dragged to jail and then court.

Better option is to scram to court right away and ask the judge for extension on your community service. There is no better option. The more you delay dealing with this issue the worse it will become.

An arrest warrant would be issued for you. Go back to court immediately and request more time.
