Yes, you appear to have legal grounds to pursue a claim. Without more information regarding the facts of your case, however, it is difficult to evaluate your case thoroughly. You should obtain legal representation from an attorney who practices in civil rights.

The information provided to you is of a general nature. We hope this information has been helpful to you, but you should always obtain competent legal counsel who is familiar with your specific legal issues to determine the best course of action. If we can help you in the future with anything, please feel free to email or contact us at www.unalaw.com

Re: racial harrassment

wow and absolutely!

first of all, i would like to apologize on behalf of this insensitive supervisor who has the nerve to make such racist and derrogatory remarks to ANY of you. from the facts given so far, some if not all of you have solid grounds and causes of action for disparate discrimination, hostile work environment, as well as many other possible tortious claims against this person and/or the company you work for. our Law Firm would consider it an honor to fight for your rights and hopefully remove this person from a supervisory position as swiftly as possible. if you would like further legal assistance and/or representation in this matter, please do not hesitate to email my Law Office directly today with more information and how we can be of assistance. warmest regards.

Re: racial harrassment

Thank you for your inquiry.

Yes, statements such as the ones you quoted are discriminatory on their face, and are prohibited by law, and as a matter of public policy.

Whether or not you have an actionable case, depends upon your damages, which are difficult to ascertain from your email.

I hope this helps, but if you have other questions, or feel that you need legal representation, please feel free to email me directly at [email protected]. I'm happy to help in any way that I can.

Re: racial harrassment

It is very much illegal. You have several options in dealing with this matter. You can go to his supervisor and complain. You can also go to the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and file a complaint there. It is also illegal to retaliate against you for making any of these complaints. If you want to discuss further, e-mail or call me @ 805/641-6600.
