Power of Attorney

My brother has POA over our mother who has demicia/alzthiemers. He wants to sell her house for his own benefit, what can i do to get the POA in both our names are stop the sale?

If your mother is still competent, she can change the power of attorney (dementia alone does not prevent competence); otherwise you will have to seek a guardianship.

Nothing. It is too late to get another power of attorney. An 'incompetent' person can't validly sign one. You'll have to apply for a Conservatorship over her in court, to get authority. Consult with local counsel.
