Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have a 7yr old child and have full custody since my child was a year old never asked for child support and my child hasn't seen his father since 2009.i also have a Restraining order that just expired. I got married in 2015 and my husband wants to adopt my child. What forms do I need to fill out? And how long is the process?

Unfortunately, processing a termination of parental rights and stepparent adoption is more than "add water and stir" in filling out paperwork. With the circumstances that you described, there's a good chance that the stepparent adoption can be achieved but it would be in your best interests to meet with an experienced family law attorney to explore your legal options.
