Legal Question in Family Law in California

Went to the California child support services and discovered that I should not have paying any support to my wife from 2007-2012 because we got back together with our children and relocated to another state and we both went to children's services and signed documents stating such forgiving all money owed. They did not update thier records and my soon to be x wife received all monies secretly including federal mortgage loan and tax returns while living in my home which is in foreclosure. The system error, do I have any recourse, I was told I can file a motion. What legal options do I have and and steps.
