child protective services

i live in los angeles and i want to know what are my rights with the child protective services CPS? am i entitled to have a copy of thier file or any reports they have?? if someone has called in a referal(report of abuse/suspected abuse) do i have a right to see the report that will follow this accusation?? i have been interviewed over the phone by a CPS(riverside, ca)agent and was told that they would mail me the same packet that they mailed the mother. i have followed up with the agent and have not recieved anything. can the agent legally do this??I am feeling very frustrated and that i am bieng discriminated against, so any feedback will be appreciated. thank you so much.

You probably need to hire an attorney at this point and they will be able to get the file.

You can subpoena the file. You might need to hire an attorney to do that for you.
