Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am primary parent and share joint legal and physical custody with ex-h.

My ex will be out of country for 2 months and authorize his friend take care of the child during his visitation time. I don't agree this arrangment but don't know how to support my position base on the legal term. In case his friend pick the child, what should I do to get the child back?

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks a lot.

The friend has no legal rights. You do! I would suggest that either you contact the ex or you file for an emergency hearing. The exception to this would be if the courts previously took away your rights or gave you limited time with your child, or if you are not able to get your child to their normal school. Legal counsel would be highly advised. Good luck!
