Legal Question

how to proceed when separated from husband

I am married in mar 2007 in India and joined my husband in may 2007 in CA after completing my exams. stayed for 4 months with him and came back to my home country as situations were not good. As I am in India for these months, can you please suggest how and in what way should I proceed to get divorce or to get my rights.
