quashing my account

tell me what i can do about back child support and whats a dupont order also i had my kids for a year while my ex got her life straight and now she has the kids back and doesnt want child support from me because of the favor i did how can i legalize this can the arrears be zeroed out or something?

A contract can be entered and agreed upon with a meeting of the minds of those involved. However, even if you get this in writing, and you must, a blessing by the court is important so that later she/he cannot say otherwise. If person is on welfare, etc., and/or back payment is controlled by public agency, may have to pay them back anyway.

The method used to reduce child support would depend upon whether it is owed to the mother or the county. If she was receiving welfare then the money is due to the county, then you would have to negotiate with the county. If the money was owed to mother then she can waive the support obligation.
