Legal Question in Family Law in California

Spousal support

i am going through a divorce. my hearing is in mid-aug.

am a stay at home mom of 15 yrs. working, only part-time, minimal hrs. from home, over the yrs.

helped my husband build our co. he has never been allowed me access to any checking accnts. & i've always had to live on a weekly food & gas allowance.

my husband earned over

$400 000 in the last two yrs. only recording around

$160 000 per annum on tax returns though.

based on this info. pls. advise what sort of spousal & child support i shld. expect to receive if any?

he has forced our home into foreclosure & i've had to move my children into a rental, for which he refuses to pay. he has cut us off financially, which is why i've had to take our divorce into court.

do i have any rights and or support to look forward to, given all of this?

thanks in advance.

troubled mom...

Re: Spousal support

This is a case in which you are very well advised to retain an attorney to assist you.

If the information you provided is indeed correct, then you will most likely receive support and attorney's fees. You should also be seeking a fair share of the value of the business.

Once again, retain an attorney.

Regards,

Damian Nolan
