Sorry to hear about your parents pending divorce especially considering the amount of time that they have been married. Your mother has many legal rights and will certainly be entitled to her rightful share of the marital assets, support, etc. However, to give you a more definitive answer as to what your mother will be entitled to we would need to know more about your mother�s situation. Your mother should consult with a lawyer. Many lawyers, like myself, offer a free initial consultation, which would provide your mother with some background information on the divorce process and may be able to provide some answers to your preliminary questions.
