Legal Question in Family Law in California

unmarried mother, custody

I was never married to my child's father, he does not pay support and did not sign a declaration of paternity. How do I prove I have sole custody

Re: unmarried mother, custody

you need to file an action for a paternity and child custody and child support.

Those issues will be determined in that action.

As always please consult with a local attorney in your area before making legal decisions.

Good luck!
