Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Can I and what can I do to appeal this judgment

In small claim limited court a judgment was granted to AmeriCredit Financial Services.Inc.on 10/20/08. On a writ of possession application which also include a dollar amount of $18,200.00 to be paid. The vehicle is claimed as exempt and granted in a chapter 7 bankruptcy case which was discharge on Nov.28 2007. What can I do this the second time this corporation sued me in the last 8 months.

I'm not sure what you mean by "exempt," unless you exempted equity in the vehicle. Still, the lender usually has a security interest in the vehicle and may repossess it after the bankruptcy is over. That would be its sole remedy if you did not sign a reaffirmation agreement. It cannot come after you for money.

Feel free to provide me by e-mail with more details of what occurred including case number(s) of the civil suits and county/ies, and your bankruptcy number and location, and I'll try to sort it out for you.
