my cousin is on social security and i am his payee and he recently got a lump sum and he told me i can use some of the money and if i give him back the rest of this money back how can i protect myself and what kind of form should i use so that he won't lie on me and say i didn't give it to him because he is on crack cocaine

You need to be clear on his intent. If he means you can use some and pay me back later, then you need to give him a promissory note. If he wishes to give you a gift of the money then he should draft a letter to that effect. It would also be ideal if he would have his signature on the letter notarized. Contact me directly.
