Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

For the past few months, my vehicle was wrapped in vinyl advertising promoting my employer. When the vinyl was removed by a professional contractor hired by my company, significant damage was done to the paint/body. My employer has told has assured me that all repairs will be covered; but I am now becoming uncomfortable with the situation. I have documented the damage, and gotten multiple repair estimates, and provided these to my employer. Before I go any further, I wanted to find out what my options are. Can I ask for the vehicle to be repaired, plus compensation for loss of value?

The vendor should be liable. You could sue, if under $7500 in small claims court. You would risk 'annoyance' by your employer, so the decision is yours. .
