Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

Immagration Law Question

Good morning,

I am in a situation in which I married a Brazilian woman for money in exchange for her citizenship. I recently found out how much trouble I could get in with the law for doing so. We have not gone threw the interview process yet, and I have tried to brake the marriage off and pay back the down payment which I received. She is now threatening to get a lawyer who will go to the DA to have me thrown in jail if I do not follow threw with the original plan. Is there anything I can do in this situation, and should I seek further counseling.

Thanks in advance,
