Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

my ex has three kids with me a 18 year old a 13year old and a 11year old hasnt worked in 18yrs now receives general relief for about three years and doesnt plan on working he owes 69,000.00 in child support and his residency expires this year what should i expect to happen will he get deported or will he be able to maintain himself here in the usa....

I don't foresee that he would get deported because he is unemployed and cannot pay his child support.

If he has had his greencard for 10 years, the renewal is just a simple form.

If he got his residency through a relative petition, then the person who signed the affidavit of support is required to subsidize him, or the government can actually seek reimbursement for welfare paid to him from that other person!
