Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in California

Assult and Battery

i am only 16 years old, and i am being charged with battery and Assault and i need help finding a pro bono(sp?) lawyer or public defender in the Stanislaus County area, if anyone has any suggestions please help.

they said that my parents make too much money to get a court assigned attorney, are there any other options? i only have until the 27 of this month, thanks in advance!!!

Tell your Mom and Dad that an attorney on LawGuru.com said: If they don't hire you a good lawyer, you'll have to plead guilty, and under the new juvenile laws you'll have a permanent criminal record that can't be expunged, you'll never be able to get a job, and you'll have to live with them forever.
