If I am going to get fired, as someone under may have taken money and I am responsible for the office, can I quit? without giving them notice?

California is an "at-will" employment state, which means that either party to the employment relationship may terminate the relationship at any time, with or without notice, unless there is a contract that says otherwise. However, you probably will not be eligible to collect unemployment benefits.
