Legal Question in Employment Law in California

retaliation, stolen tips, wrongfully adjusted hours, etc

I work as a server where the management has regularly stolen tips, wrongfully adjusted hours, used unkind treatment, and has practiced retaliation. These issues have been brought to their attention and instead of investigating they have taken oppisite measure including retaliation to silence the memo. Co-workers have witnessed and have been victim of retaliation in the form of write-ups, hour changes, work schedule changes, and even termination. Many co-workers are with me and are willing to act as witnesses. I'm contemplating legal action but do not know how good a case I have. please help me. thank you.

Re: retaliation, stolen tips, wrongfully adjusted hours, etc

You do not have to do this on your own. If you have a good case, any number of attorneys will be willing to meet with you and your co-workers to help enforce your rights. While there are things that are appropriate to do yourself, because this area of the law is complex and will require some stratgey to protect hours and perhaps jobs, seek counsel now. If I can be of help, feel free to contact me.
