Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Suicidal Friend

I have a friend who is having a lot of probelms at work due to a mental disability. She is being treated badly and has expressed suicidal thoughts to me. I have encouraged her to seek help but I am wondering if I have an obligation to inform her employer. I am not a doctor or counselor, but I feel I have some moral obligation, if not legal. (I am not sure which area of law this is.)
