Legal Question in Employment Law in California

termination without proper notifcation

future son in law went out on a medical problem and it was verbally ok and discussed with employer.the problem was more involved than he thought and after several months they notified him by mail that he was supposedly terminated when he had to leave work due to illness.

also he was just notified that they are trying to bill him for the insurance cost or medical cost that has been accumulated so far.we need to know his options as he is facing additional medical charges as the problem is now just coming to the surface

Re: termination without proper notifcation

The termination was proper. Nothing illeagal there. As for the insurance charges they are billing him for, sounds bogus to me. I would just ignore that.
