Vacation Pay

What are the laws regarding vacation pay and the payment of it upon termination for a salaried employee? Is it assumed to be vested time, or does this need to be specified? Is it calculated as part of the salary?

vacation pay is prorated and always vested. it is based on salary and must be paid upon termination
