Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Vacation time

I've been working at a car dealership for 27 yrs. I receive 3 wks. vacation but only take less than a wk. every year. I'm a mgr. at this dealership and don't get any extra pay when I don't go on vacation. All the days I lost, is there any money due me because I lose the vacation days yearly.

Re: Vacation time

Once vacation is earned under your current employment policy or handbook then the earned time is treated as earned wages. Therefore, you cannot forfeit earned wages.
