Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

i broke my left arm on december 19th 2010 i went to tulare district before surgery i had use of my hand after surgery i had no movement and only a tingling sensation when it was touched the doctor neglected to check the brachial artery which had an embolism in it (from the x-ray itself by the way the bone was broke the artery should have been checked before surgery) i got out of surgery fully casted and you could see my hand swelling getting bigger and bigger, the orginal doctor cut the cast and then decided to do the angiogram which showed the embolism, which caused compartment syndrome in my hand, tulare district covered the cost of the ambulance ride to kaweah delta where x-rays were done that showed the plates the original doctor put in were not even in the right place. kaweah delta fix all problems except for the compartment syndrome. i am 19 i was attending school to become a pharmacy tech, i had to leave school because i could not continue with only one working hand. i would like to know if i have a case, if so i am not want much i would like my medical bills taken care of as well as my student loans paid that is all, and the cost of the attorney if this becomes a case

yes it sounds according to the facts the surgeon may have been negligent but it is hard to know without more facts but preliminary facts sounds like there is a case. I don't know how much but potentially enough to cover all your medical bills.
