Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Asset Search

I am the victim of an assault resulting in substantive injuries. I have filed a criminal assault charge with the pd. I am seeking representation for a civil suit; however, I have been advised that in order for an attrny to consider taking my case, an asset search of the offending party will be required. I cannot afford the $2k+ to hire a PI. How else may I secure info related to asset search (property, bank). I have the person's dob & physical residence.

Call us at 213.388.7070 and let us know about the information you already know about the defendant and there are many ways to locate defendant's assets to satisfy a judgement (i.e. wage garnishment, lien on property....) and we have a few resources for that.

It is usually relatively simple to determine the potential defendants ability to satisfy a judgment, were you to proceed in the case. It is part of the process that a diligent attorney will go through before taking your case, at no charge to you.
