Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Can I be sued over and over again for the same tort and same person?

Hi,

Can a person sue me many times for defamation, even though I successfully defend them all? At what point does the courts finally decide that this person is vindictive and is clogging the legal system? She claims that I defamed her online, but they have no reasonable proof. It could be anyone. They say it was me, because I signed my name or used my email address. My defense was, why would I want them to know it was me? Besides, anyone could put my name on there.

These lawsuits are getting taxing, and i'm sure she's taking it in the rear with all of her legal expenses. What can I do to get her off my back??

Request the court declare her a 'vexatious' litigant, which will deny her the right to file any new action against you or others without the specific consent of the court. Seek monetary sanctions against her.
