Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I am the defendant in a personal injury claim, I did not have liability insuranc

I rear-ended a car at a very low speed and I do not have liability insurance. I did not report the accident due to the fact that the damages were under $500. We did not file a police report because there was minimal damage, there was no emergency vehicles called because no one was hurt. Now 10 months later I am being sued for medical bills, pain and suffering and property damages. How do I prove that I did not hit hard enough to cause all this damage? Do I even have a chance in small claims court?

If you are in small Claims Court then you just have to go to court and tell the story the best you can. Bring pictures of your car to show the amount of impact. If you're not in small Claims Court, you're going to need a lawyer and immediate action is needed to protect you from being defaulted. If you would like to call me and give me a little more detailed information about your case I will try to help you. There is no charge for the call.
