Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I fell from my motorcycle due to an ongoing hazard, ( gravel on a intersection). Would the city be responsible for my damages?

It's possible, but the case would depend heavily on a good (and early!) investigation. On cases like this, the first thing I do is send Public Records Act requests to the relevant government agencies to obtain their documents regarding complaints and accidents, as well as clean-up and repair work, for the past five years. Without these documents, your claim will be denied and you might not even be able to prove your case at trial. You see, just the fact that there was gravel on the road is not enough by itself. You have to be able to prove that either the City put the gravel there, or that they knew about it and failed to clean it.

This sort of investigation needs to be done by a lawyer. If you have serious injuries, please call me or e-mail me and I'll be glad to help. There is never any fee unless we win money for you, so call toll-free at (877) LION-FOR-LAW (546-6367) or write [email protected]
