Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I was injured while walking into a grocery store a year ago, my leg fracture has not yet healed all the way. The clerk was putting carts away and as she turned the carts the rug lifted and I tripped over it. Their lawyers have assured me they are paying for all my medical , but what other compensation should I receive? The injury put me in a bad situation as I was looking for work at the time it occurred and have not been able to find work as a result.

The elephant in the room here is called "Pain and Suffering." That is what they are trying to get away without paying. Now, you also may have rights to future medical care, lost income, and future earning capacity, but that all depends on the facts of your individual case. To answer your question, you ought to receive full compensation which depends on your work, future earnings potential, pain and suffering and maybe loss of consortium.

BUT you're problem is not what they should be paying for right now, but that they pay at all. You ought to get legal representation because time is running out for any suit. Don't hesitate to contact me.

After 28 years of legal experience, I would suggest that you cannot count on them voluntarily paying your medical bills.

Depending on the person, the medical bills are a fraction of the addditional money you are entiteld to for the pain, inconvenience and other issues.
