Re: Should we obtain a lawyer?

You should definitely speak to an attorney. The cord should not have been where your Mother could trip over it. We have successfully handled many premises cases, however these cases are very tough. Please email your telephone number and I would be happy to speak to you at no charge:

Re: Should we obtain a lawyer?

This appears to be negligence on the part of the dentist's office. This is a serious injury and a competent personal injury attorney can advise you on the advantages of retaining an attorney to assist you on the case. You should seek a free consultation with an experienced personal injury attorney who will take the case on a contingency fee.

Re: Should we obtain a lawyer?

Yes, and you should do so right away. The dentist should not have had the cord lying in an area where patients would be expected to walk, especially without placing adequate warnings. My office handles major premises liability trip and fall cases all over the state of California, primarily Southern California. Feel free to e-mail me with your contact information for a free consultation. We handle all our cases on a contingency fee basis. My e-mail is [email protected], and feel free to browse our website at ysclawyers.com.

Re: Should we obtain a lawyer?

I believe you should seek an attorney. This incident would require proving causation, likely working with the dentist's business insurance company and negotiating with sophisticated parties.

I am a personal injury attorney in California, so if you have any further questions, please feel free to follow up.

Thanks.
