Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

My wife was hit with a foulball at angel stadium last saturday nite,04/10/10. the ball hit her in the mouth and required over 30 stiches.our question is do we have legal recourse in regards to l.a. angels' liabilities?

I'm afraid not. Being hit by a ball is a risk we take when we go to a baseball game and sit in foul territory. With more information I might see a way to press a claim, but this looks like a classic instance of what lawyers call assumption of the risk.

Of course, even if the Angels don't *have* to pay your wife's bills they might be willing to help. Few patrons suffer that sort of injury, and the club may choose to be more helpful than the law requires it to be.
