Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California

i have a lease agreement with a third party to rent a condo. the HOA has convinced the police that i am a squatter, even though i have receipts and rental agreement and lights on in my name. i have been locked out, what should i do?

Try going to someone higher up at the police department. Bring your rental agreement and your utility bill. Be calm and polite. Good luck!
