Legal Question in Real Estate Law in California
I live in California. I rent a room from a man that is on felony probation. My roommate was giving paperwork by the court stating that i need to move out of his residence by 7pm thus day. I am not on probation nor do i have a criminal history of any sorts. I am disabled and have no where to go. What are my rights as a tenant and is this legal to do to me?

You are not clear on what the paperwork is at all. Normally people are evicted when the sheriff or a registered process server signs a stamped document called a "writ of possession." But you could have also been served with a restraining order that is a residence exclusion order. i suggest speaking in person to an attorney near you today and having that attorney look at the paperwork from the court.
So, you have a COURT order and you're asking if it is legal??
