Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

my boyfriends brother of 27 was sexually harrassing my 15 year old sister by touching her. i did not call the police the day it happend (dec 24 2011) do i still have a case? can i press charges on him?

Yes, promptly call the police to report the crime. The victim also has the right to file a civil lawsuit for 'damages', if appropriate. It would be based upon claims of emotional distress, assault, battery, etc. If serious about doing so, contact local counsel.
