Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

Offensive e-mail

Is my company guilty of allowing a ''hostile work environment'' to exist if they continue to allow offensive e-mails to be received by employees.

I'm refering to their unwillingness to stop the junk mail that we receive that refers to all sorts of sexual topics, from e-mail that contains offensive sexual profanity, to outright ads for sex sites.

I want them to filter these e-mails or stop forcing me to read e-mail full of sexual ones.

Re: Offensive e-mail

Employees are entitled to a discrimination and harassment free workplace. If there is a way for the company to reduce or eliminate the sexual messages, they are obligated to do it. Contact me if interested in discussing the other legal remedies you may now how because of their refusal to do so.
