Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

In a california conservatorship case what is the definition of a document that has been filed with the court listed as a 'citation' on the courts public access website. Is this in response to some previous filing? In the same type of case is there no participant that is titled 'respondent' ? only a title of 'objector' ?
