A living will is not a Last Will and Testament, it is a medical directive and of no force or effect now. You must investigate his books and records to see if there is a Will and/or life insurance.

Mr. Scler is correct. You might also consider contacting any attorneys your father may have had contact with and put him/her on notice that your father passes. While they can not tell you if he was a client, they can contact the personal representative and beneficiaries named in that will.
It is not necessary in AZ to record a will and most do not record theirs. However, some few do record wills. As a last resort you could check the recorder's records in the county in which your father lived or owned real estate.
