Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

my fiance was murdered a month ago. His parents are now trying to take the vehicles that we purchased with cash together we have lived together in ca for 7 years i pay the insurance on one of the vehicles. Can they take them from me ?

you said they can, is their anything i can do to stop them? and what else can they take dose it have to be in his name? please give me some advice on what to do.

That's really awful and low, and you have my sympathies both for your loss and for the way you are being treated. While you aren't his legal heir, if you have receipts for the cash you paid you should be able to take them to small claims court to recoup the money.
