Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Hello,

I want to sue a trust for personal injuries. The trust is the owner of the property where the personal injuries occurred. My question is, who are the appropriate defendants in the action? Would it be the trust and the trustees and/or the beneficiaries? Thanks for your response.

You would name the defendant as follows: "XXXXX, as trustee of the YYYYY trust." Also, you would want to name fictitious defendants DOES 1-10 just in case you might discover that there are additional owners of the property.
