Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

Recently my husbands mother passed away, his father had passed away years before, his only sibling has said they would send a copy of the family trust but has still not done so. It has been almost 3 months since she passed away. What can we do to get access to a copy of the trust? The trust was made in California.

Send a polite demand letter pointing out that they would not want the treatment that has occurred if the situation if the tables were turned around, but also if you do not get a copy you cuold file in court to have him removed as trustee and pay the costs of that removal [judge probably would not award those costs]. You could also file to open probate on the Will, whether or not there is one.
